HELLO FROM CAPACITY – THE PUBLIC SERVICES LAB

    Capacity Logo

Yes, we’ve got a new name! But why?

It is clear from meeting people across Liverpool City Region and nationally that there is indeed capacity in our communities and systems. There’s capacity to do things differently and better. And, as of now, much of that capacity is untapped.  It might be community groups wanting to run local parks, or individuals dealing with some acute or chronic condition wanting to help others earlier in that journey. Or it might be parents whose children have left home wanting to help isolated adults in their communities.

    STEPHEN QUINN JOINS CLUBFINANCE

Clubfinance Project Finance Ltd – one of the most active providers of intelligence on infrastructure projects to investors – has expanded its capabilities with the appointment of Stephen Quinn, who is joining from waste management investor, FCC Environment.

Stephen has 23 years’ of experience in project finance transactions and is an expert in raising finance for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Private Finance Initiative (PFI) schemes.

In his career, Stephen has worked across Energy, Waste, Rail, and Tram sectors where PPP and PFI projects have been used to deliver economic and social infrastructure, most recently focused on the waste and renewable energy sector.

Stephen’s role will include bringing Clubfinance Project Finance’s services to a wider client base and extending the firm’s capabilities in the waste sector.

Neil Rutledge, Clubfinance Project Finance director, said: “Stephen brings additional experience to our advisory team who have worked across waste, biomass and energy generation. His experience in bidding and closing Project Finance transactions will augment their analytical and modelling skills.”

Stephen Quinn said: “Clubfinance Project Finance is an excellent company staffed by extremely bright and talented individuals. It has built a justifiable reputation for the development of cost-effective financial models that are accessible to non-modellers, whilst delivering the accuracy investors rightly demand. I plan to bring my years of experience in project finance to bear on the business, helping to explore new opportunities where Clubfinance Project Finance could provide valuable services. These could include new jurisdictions or sectors, such as renewable energy and waste where forecasting is increasingly critical to investor outcomes.”
